never stop training our people.
Every year
throughout the year, we require every single person on our
pool care team to upgrade their education by attending technical
schools, seminars and training sessions. We also cross-train
our pool care specialist people with our "property care
specialists", to eliminate the "it's not my job" mentality.
We look our best.
We do our best. You'll
never wonder who's pulling into your driveway when Glen Gate
is your pool care company. All our trucks are clean and shiny
and clearly marked with our company name. And all our people
wear neat, clean uniforms that also bear the Glen Gate name.
When you look your best, you do your best. It's that simple.
We’re there
when you need us. When you
call for emergency services the last thing you want is an
answering machine. When you call Glen Gate, the phone is
always answered live by someone who is anxious to help you.
And that's true 24 hours a day -- even holidays, weekends
and snowy nights.
We keep a manager
on call. Our office
has managers on premises every weekday from 6 a.m. to 6p.m.
And when swimming pool season begins, they're even there
on Saturdays. That way, there's always someone knowledgeable
on hand to answer your questions and handle your requests.
We have more experienced
people. Maintaining
and restoring pools is a popular summer job for college students.
But not at Glen Gate. Our staff is 95% full-time career professionals.
When we do hire a college student for the summer, it's as
a trainee. And never in a position of ultimate responsibility
for the care and cleaning of your pool.
We fix only what
needs to be fixed. Fixing
things that aren't broken and replacing things that could
be fixed are two business practices we're proud to say we
never practice at Glen Gate. We fix only what needs to be
fixed -- and if it's expensive, we tell you before we fix
it. That way, you're never unpleasantly surprised
We use only the
best products.
No matter
how diligent we are in servicing your pool, our work is
only as good as the materials and products we use. So we
search for chemicals, equipment and masonry products that
meet the highest standards of performance. They may cost
a tiny bit more, but they pay you back in satisfaction
when it counts--on your day off in your pool.
We never run out
of parts. Every Glen
Gate truck is stocked with every part our service technicians
are likely to need. But just in case they run out, we back
them up with a large inventory of parts in our warehouse.
It's our fail-safe way of making sure you're never denied
the use of your pool due to waiting for a spare part to arrive.
We anticipate your
needs. As a client
of Glen Gate, you will come to expect more of our pool care
people than just technical proficiency. You will find they
go out of their way to do more than is expected of them --
like cleaning your pool before July 4th, even though your
normal cleaning falls the day after. We pride ourselves on
keeping you posted. On returning your phone calls. On confirming
appointments well in advance. We are all equipped with mobile
phones; they help keep us in touch with you and your needs. |
